Like our regular cashmere is this is also sourced direclty from Ladakh, India. However, this is part of the 3kg of cashmere that was used to insulate the small piece of the glacier that was presented at the United Nations in New York.  As a result, very small amounts may show some dislocation, but will easily wash out.  It still measures  15.5 microns or less and is ideal for handspinning or felting.
