Very glad you lived to tell the tale! And with great pics to share as well. I do love the retired diamond miners ram with extended curly horns! Such a sweet picture. Wishing you continued healing and taking good care of yourself.

Wow! Not your usual story! Would I have gotten out of the car? How much do we act on instinct or what we are “trained” to do? But is that right in every situation? You obviously made the right decision in finally driving off. I totally agree with the woman at the end. It is something I told my daughters - it is ok to lie to save your life. May you continue to heal.

Thank you, Mary, Great question: instinct vs. "doing what's right." A gray zone indeed.
