Cashmere on Ice
In honor of the United Nations “International Year of Glaciers’ Preservation,” we are offering a growing number of events for people to be educated and engaged. Melting glaciers are already impacting shepherds throughout the world. As a member of the natural fiber community, it’s important to know that many of these herders are suffering up to a 50% loss in livestock due to the water shortage.
On March 21, we will officially launch “Cashmere on Ice;” a global fiber arts competition in collaboration with Long Thread Media. At the screening of The Shepherdess of The Glaciers, we will give away three 2-ounce bags of cashmere. You must be present at the online launch to win.
